Coconut Ginger Chutney
Ingredients
- Grated coconut -1 cup
- Shallots/Cheriya ulli - 5
- Green Chilly -4
- Ginger -1 tsp
- Curry Leaves - 4
- Salt to taste
For Seasoning
- Oil-1 tsp
- Mustard seeds -1/2 tsp
- Red chilly -2
- Curry Leaves -1 spring
- Shallots -2 finely sliced
Directions
- Grind together all the ingredients with 1/2 water
- Stop the ginder before the paste become too smooth
- Heat the oil in a pan add mustard seeds,when it splutters add curry leaves ,red chilly and Shallots .
- Saute till shallots become brown
- Pour this into the coconut mixture and mix well
- Goes well with Dosa,idly etc
