Shrimp /Prawn Fry /Konchu/Chemmen Varuthathu
Shrimp /Prawn Fry /Konchu/Chemmen Varuthathu
Ingredients :
- Prawn/Shrimp- 1 cup (25-30 shrimps)
For Marinating :
- Chilly Powder - 1 1/2 tsp
- Ginger and Garlic Paste - 1 tsp (Optional)
- Turmeric Powder -1/4 tsp
- Pepper Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Salt to taste
For Frying :
- Coconut oil or any other Vegetable oil
Directions :
- Clean the
Prawn/Shrimp and marinate it with all the ingredients and keep it aside for at least half an hour (Keep it in the refrigerator -optional )
- Heat the oil in heavy bottom pan (Medium flame)
- Place the prawn/shrimp one by one in to the pan
- Turn the other side of the
prawn/shrimp after 4-5 minutes
- Cook for another 3-4 minutes
- Remove the it from the fire and place it in the serving plate
- Serve with Rice!!
